Turtle Lake – Mercer Public School Turtle Lake, ND
Not only did we build a school, we helped the district build a case for a successful bond vote.
The project mission was to provide students a learning opportunity in a safe environment.
An 11,500 SF addition allowed an existing library to be relocated and the current library space to be renovated into two classrooms.
The project scope included a new entrance/commons area, accessible public restrooms, staff lounge, four classrooms, a resource center/library and renovation for two new classrooms.
The project budget was $2,536,000 and construction was delivered using a construction manager.
- School expansion addresses school needs and provides space for community use.
- Classrooms provide safe rooms to shelter students during emergencies.
- New main entrance directs visitors to office and provides for after hour access to the resource center/library for community use.
- A tight budget was met and final project delivered within budget.
